CHARGEBACKS and DISPUTED FARES
TAXIS has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to fraud. By placing responsibility for intitiating payment transactions and entering the payment amount in the hands of passengers we've minimised the possibility of driver error. Only you can nominate the payment method and amount, and you do this from the security of your own mobile phone.
Time, date, taxi number and driver ID are all recorded, as well as pick-up and set-down location. This information is them immediately sent to your registered email address, as well as being available for you to access online.
The only way someone else can use your username and password is if they get it from you - so please keep these secure. TAXIS can't be held liable for transactions occuring as a result you disclosing these to anyone.
If you've inadvertantly made a mistake in the amount entered - and the TAXIS system gives you an opportunity to review and revise your payment before processing the transaction - we're happy to rectify the matter subject to verification from the our records and consultation with the driver. Let us know as soon as you become aware of any problems by sending an email to customer-support@taxis.net.au and we'll do our best to resolve the issue immediately.
