FAVOURITES

This is where you can, at any time, record all the details of your favourite pick-ups and destinations or new pick-up point on a job offer. More than half of all trips are repeat or return trips, so this way the offer process is as quick as possible. When you post a new job pick-up, it will automatically be added to your favourites,unless you untick the check box.

On average it will then, and ever after, take 15 seconds to call a cab.

The "shortcut" is the name you allocate for the full address details. Please also try to identify the building because drivers remember locations rather than street numbers - and not many Australian locations are well numbered.

In the"notes" you can add particular instructions for each favourite,and you can also vary them for the particular job. You can also vary the Passenger Name from your own standard default name when you are getting a cab for someone else.

When it come to pay the fare, the TAXIS system is flexible so that it can be paid by you, having created an authorisation, or by the passenger from his own user registered details. If you pay, the e-mail receipt goes immediately to your nominated address. It all goes to a better tracking of credit card fare transactions.

At this first stage TAXIS is only in Sydney, but, as we extend, the system will recognise your last access area or allow a change to the new location.

For each access area we will have the common favourites. Airports are the logical favourites, and as we grow, other local most frequent destinations will show. If the Airport is the pick-up, you will be prompted to enter a Flight Number and Arrival Tme as well as Luggage / No Luggage to assist the "Booked Driver" in the taxi waiting area, to be there at the right time.
