Taxis is all about giving you a better service.

One of our several objectives is to reduce fraud in the taxi Industry

Some, but not all, the fraud originates with Taxi Drivers using credit card details so easily obtained within the current systems. Some is by passengers using cards fraudulently. The big value fraud occurs when credit card details are passed on to create a whole new false card identity with massive charges.

Evewn when a Cabcharge "e-ticket" is used the current system does little to reduce fraud. TAXIS will change all that. The way in which a card or account transaction can be passed through several hands and the Driver ID and ABN gets "lost" or "erroneously recorded" simply does not happen with TAXIS.

Only the driver you pay gets the money. No one else !!

The classic line of " sorry, the eftpos is not working" is no longer valid.

And, if you were 'tired and emotional' and made a few mistakes when entering the fare payment, no worries. Trip details are recorded and reported immediately and an adjustment can easily be made.
