THE FUTURE FOR TAXIS

Taxis has started in Sydney and plans on Australia wide coverage by end 2010. The set-up for any for any city or region can be completed within days. All we need is passenger / driver registration to provide a local critical mass.

The time is well overdue for changes to the Taxi Industry. The ACCC is on the warpath with Cabcharge and its practises. Now www.taxis.net.au is offering an alternative. Let's see what a bit of competition brings.

To keep the system operating at maximum responsiveness, we will need you to select a new region if you move from your 'home' region. So, when in Melbourne for the day, switch to that region to get local suburbs and Airports on screen. Or at least do so very soon ...
